The Tambja kava is a colorful nudibranch characterized by its vibrant lime green body adorned with light shades of orange markings. Its cerata, gills, and rhinophores are highlighted with bright purple tips, creating a vivid contrast against the lime background. This species was first described in 2014 and is known from various locations in the Indo-Pacific region.

  • Size: Up to 20 mm
  • Range: Indo-Pacific; including the Marshall Islands and Romblon, Philippines
  • Habitat / Depth: Lagoon reefs and pinnacles; typically found at depths of 5–15 meters
  • Diet: Feeds on bryozoans
