Tiger Flatworm

The Tiger Flatworm is a striking marine flatworm known for its bold and contrasting coloration. Its elongated, oval body features a velvety black dorsal surface with a vibrant orange margin. Prominent yellow-green longitudinal stripes often run along the midline, separated by a narrow black median line, creating a tiger-like pattern. This species exhibits considerable color and pattern variation across its range, making each individual unique.

- Range: Tropical Indo-Pacific; including Hawaii, Indonesia, the Philippines, Micronesia, the Maldives, and Australia
- Habitat / Depth: Coral reefs and reef slopes; typically found at depths of 5–30 meters
- Diet: Feeds exclusively on colonial ascidians
